It’s only September 20th and I have just turned the heat on for the first time since last winter. It’s 46 outside and 64 in my house! My boys both have colds so I couldn’t have the house that cool. Next week I’m sure we will hit 80 again. That’s just how it is here.
Meanwhile, my family in Arizona is still sweating it out in the 90’s, I’m sure. I don’t miss that extreme heat at all though. I miss Arizona, but surely not those temperatures. I love the change of seasons here, and Fall is my favorite season. So, even though it’s chilly and the heat is on, I’m pretty excited. The leaves are just starting to change, hopefully those damn mosquitoes are finally going to all die and I won’t have to see another bug until next April. That makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.
The winter gets long… but spring pops up just when you can’t take it anymore. It all works out. The only thing that really sucks about the winter is driving in big bulky winter coats and trying to get two children buckled into their carseats with bulky coats. That is hard. Otherwise winter isn’t so bad.
Dear lord, I’m putting myself to sleep with this post. I just have nothing exciting to say.

I’d take hot and sunny all year round in a heartbeat. I hate being cold.

No, it’s exciting to read about the change of season. Singapore is hot and sunny all the time except for some rain by end of the year
